PodBasics: This class provides tools and techniques necessary to build a safe and sustainable yoga practice and offers an opportunity for beginners to create a solid foundation. Class moves at a slow, meditative pace allowing students time to explore alignment and fundamental aspects of the postures. The class provides instruction and demonstration of proper body mechanics in a variety of poses as well as how to utilize props for support. After learning the basics, students will leave feeling confident to attend any level one or all levels classes.
PodFlow (Level 1 & All Levels): PodFlow classes embody the true spirit of vinyasa yoga, breath-synchronized movement. Vinyasa yoga is a gradual progression that connects one pose to the next. The focus is on moving with breath control through the power of inhaling and exhaling, creating a deeper awareness on all levels. The classes generally begin with a warm up through Sun Salutations and progress with sequences that build strength and flexibility. Classes are diverse, as the specific teacher will bring their own creative element, and each class focuses on proper alignment techniques and safe and intelligent sequencing progressions. PodFlow 1 is an entry level class but is also suitable for all levels, from the beginner to more seasoned practitioner. Classes are 60 or 75 minutes long.
Pod Flow (Level 2): In this dynamic Level 2 class, more challenging postures or options for advanced variations are introduced that build on the fundamentals of the PodFlow 1 class. For example, inversions, binds and/or arm balances may be included. Classes are diverse, as the specific teacher will bring their own creative element, and each class focuses on proper alignment techniques and safe and intelligent sequencing progressions. Previous experience with vinyasa yoga is highly recommended before attending PodFlow 2, as classes can move at a faster pace than the level 1 classes and teachers expect the students to have some familiarity with the basic poses. Classes are 60 or 75 minutes long.

YogaTone begins and ends with a traditional yogic warm-up and cool-down. The middle portion of class utilizes light weights and body weight exercises in order to accelerate change in the body, strengthen weaknesses, and increase stability. YogaTone is essential to a balanced yoga practice and will leave you feeling bright and energized. Best of all, the class is a blast and a great, light-hearted way to build community!

PodHot: This class is a set series of postures practiced in a room with added heat of 105 degrees and 60% humidity designed to build strength, balance, flexibility and promote a detoxifying sweat. The class includes breathing exercises, a standing series and a floor series. Classes are set to music and are suitable for all levels. A towel is a must and water is recommended. Please come to class well hydrated.
HotVinFusion: This signature Yoga Pod class blends elements of a PodHot and vinyasa flow class. Accompanied by music, this is a set intelligent sequence of postures designed to build slowly, open the body safely and strengthen from head to toe. The room is heated to 95-98 degrees with added humidity to promote deep stretching, mental focus and a detoxifying sweat. Designed for all levels, this class also offers advanced variations for students who want to up-level their practice. A towel is a must and water is recommended. Please come to class well hydrated.

Yin: Yin yoga is a nourishing sequence of restful postures supported by props and blankets. The aim is to encourage the body to be aware of its restful state in order to turn on a deep current of healing and rejuvenation. Poses are done on the floor, held for longer durations. Yin poses focus on applying moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. New depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion and an increased flow of energy can be achieved by focusing on these deeper tissues. Our Yin classes are dimly lit with soft music playing. This class is suitable for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
